Confirmation Schedule
1) March 2nd & 3rd will be the last class for 6th & 7th Grade
2) 8th Graders & Others being confirmed will meet on…
March 23 & 30 as well as April 6 @ 6 PM
We will be preparing for Questioning Sunday (8 AM, April 10)
3) Confirmation Sunday is April 17th at 10:45 AM
Make sure you turn in your sermon reports and get your service hours done.

Confirmation Update
Check with your child(ren) about all the sermon reports and tests that I handed back to them to see how they are doing.

Acolyte Schedule
I have completed the acolyte schedule which runs through May. Not everyone was scheduled for this time period, but that doesn't mean you won't get scheduled during the summer/fall. Remember, if you cannot make your time, you must find a replacement.
I will hand out a hard copy of the schedule and also have Mr. Miller post the schedule on this blog so you can refer to it as needed.
Please arrive at church no later than 10 minutes before the service so you can be directed by the Head Usher.

My Apologies!
My apologies for the confusion regarding confirmation on January 12! I did not realize until 2:00 PM that the majority of our students did not have school today because of the weather. For that reason I made a post on the blog and sent out an E-Update cancelling confirmation.
It has been our policy if there is no school there are no evening activities. Of course, I never thought of the scenario that Immanuel would have school as well as Fort Zumwalt, but Wentzville, Warrrenton and Wright City would not.
Since we have several different school districts represented in our Wednesday class, I believe the simplest solution to any future confusion is to make the following our policy from this day forward: If Immanuel has school...we will have confirmation. If Immanuel does not have school we will not have confirmation.
I'm sorry some of you made the trek only to have to turn around and go home.
Might I add one more thing...Growing up in Minnesota it is dumbfounding to me that some schools were cancelled for 2 days because of somewhere around 3 inches of snow. If my school growing up would have done that we would have had consecutive snow days pretty much from January through March!
